The Security AI Lab is a structured, hands‑on lab day that helps organizations strengthen their data security, governance and control foundations for safe adoption of AI and Copilot in Microsoft 365.
Rather than focusing on theory or slide presentations, the day consists of two complementary sessions demonstrating why AI safety starts with data - and how Microsoft Purview policies directly shape Copilot and AI behaviour in everyday use.
The lab ties together business decisions, governance frameworks and technical controls, showing how clear definitions of data sensitivity, ownership and protection enable consistent, responsible AI usage across Microsoft 365.
The Security AI Lab is built around two complementary tracks - Business and Technical - each highlighting a different perspective on secure and responsible AI.
While the Business Track focuses on AI risk, governance and strategic decision‑making, the Technical Track illustrates how those decisions are translated into tangible controls and visible Copilot behaviour within Microsoft 365.
To maximize the value of the day, we strongly encourage participation from both business leaders and technical specialists within each organization.
Teams attending both tracks benefit from shared understanding, stronger alignment and a smoother path to faster, safer AI adoption.
