Many organizations enable Copilot without fully understanding how data protection controls affect AI behaviour. The Technical Track is a guided, hands‑on lab where participants configure, test and observe real scenarios.
You will work with:
All scenarios are designed to reflect real‑world enterprise use cases and designed for safe experimentation.
This track is designed for:
Prior deep Purview expertise is not required, but familiarity with Microsoft 365 security concepts is recommended.
The Security AI Lab consists of two complementary tracks, designed to connect governance decisions with hands‑on implementation.
This Technical Track focuses on configuring, testing and observing how Microsoft Purview and Copilot security controls work in practice. The Business Track, in turn, provides the governance, risk and accountability context behind those controls.
For the strongest outcome, we encourage organizations to attend with both technical and business profiles. When both perspectives are represented, AI governance becomes clearer, controls are easier to implement, and Copilot behaves more predictably in real use.
