Vivicta is extending its assignment as a strategic IT partner for another three years. The agreement includes deliveries valued at approximately SEK 200 million per year and is a central part of the region’s efforts to make healthcare more accessible, secure, and efficient.
Vivicta is responsible for several of the technical services that form the foundation of the region’s digital ecosystem, including infrastructure, operations, storage, and applications. The delivery also includes electronic health record systems and management of patient data, which places high demands on security, availability, and regulatory compliance. Together with Region Skåne, Vivicta now continues the work of modernizing the IT environment and creating robust technical platforms that enable new digital services and innovations.
“Region Skåne faces complex challenges where digitalisation is crucial. The continued trust confirms the value of our long-term partnership. Our focus is to deliver stable and future-proof IT that provides the foundation for the region’s strategic development”, says Venke Bordal, CEO of Vivicta Sweden.
Digitalization of healthcare is a prioritized area for Region Skåne. The focus is on increasing accessibility, streamlining workflows, and providing both healthcare professionals and citizens with better digital support. With Vivicta as a strategic partner, the region will benefit from investments in automation, AI, and cloud solutions, with particular emphasis on security and robustness adapted for the public sector and healthcare.
“Region Skåne has a clear strategy for how digitalization should strengthen healthcare. Our collaboration is about building long-term, sustainable, and secure solutions that truly make a difference — both for operations and for citizens. Earning continued trust in such a complex and societally critical environment is a strong acknowledgment of our work,” says Ulrika Bergman, Customer Executive at Vivicta.
The renewed assignment is also an important milestone for Vivicta and strengthens the company’s continued growth within the public sector. The collaboration with Region Skåne, which has already spanned many years, is now deepened further and provides the region with stability and continuity in a time of rapid digital change.
