Södra is introducing AI agents to automate anomaly detection in financial data with Vivicta—beginning to reduce manual work and strengthening the foundation for future AI driven finance processes.
Head of Microsoft Dynamics, Vivicta
Södra’s finance team manually reviewed large volumes of financial transactions to spot anomalies. They needed a faster, more reliable, and more transparent way to manage these checks.
Södra leads the way is Södra’s group vision. Within the finance function, we have ambitious goals to work more process-efficiently, strengthen business partnering, and succeed in using digitalization & AI.
Fredrik Kinder, Head of Finance Operations and Systems at Södra
Vivicta implemented Microsoft’s Account Reconciliation Agent in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The AI agent automatically identifies discrepancies in financial data and documents findings, replacing a labour-intensive manual task and enabling a scalable foundation for future automation. Microsoft estimates 200 hours saved per 10,000 rows.
By implementing Account Reconciliation Agent, we have created a stable foundation for faster and smoother implementation of future agents. The agent clarifies discrepancies, and we see that it will give us efficient ways to make corrections, while these are documented when the agent is fully utilized.
