Lead Platform Engineer / Platform Owner – OpenShift & Cloud Native

We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer / Platform Owner to spearhead our OpenShift platform engineering initiatives for large-scale, mission-critical environments. 

When joining Vivicta as a Lead Platform Engineer / Platform Owner

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for OpenShift platform engineering.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team (DevOps, SRE, architects, security, operations).
• Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure OpenShift clusters (on-prem, hybrid, cloud).
• Drive adoption of DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD, and automation best practices.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for stakeholders and customers.
• Oversee onboarding of applications and teams to the platform.
• Ensure KPI-driven governance and continuous improvement.
• Manage backlog, sprint planning, and roadmap alignment.

We believe you have 

• Proven experience in platform engineering and OpenShift in large-scale environments.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with KPI-driven delivery and governance.
• Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this role.
