Head of Group Tax

We are now looking for our Head of Group Tax who would be part of Vivicta's finance function. The position is vital for the implementation of Vivicta Group’s strategy, ensuring that the tax strategy aligns with its overall business objectives, as well as for maintaining tax compliance and optimizing tax efficiency of the Group.

When joining Vivicta as a Head of Group Tax:

You will be part of our Group Finance Function. You will report directly to Vivicta Group’s CFO and support our operations group-wide in all the jurisdictions where we operate. Your work will mainly involve overseeing all tax activities across our international operations, ensuring global and local tax compliance across the Group, supporting management and business in tax questions arising from their operations and providing strategic guidance on tax planning and tax risk management.

Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Implementing and maintaining global tax policies and strategies and the tax governance model of the Group
• Ensuring compliance with international tax laws and regulations
• Tax Management, including legal and capital structure planning and implementing and maintaining transfer pricing model
• Tax Planning, managing a stable Effective Tax Rate of the Group
• Overseeing tax consolidation and tax accounting of the Group
• Indirect tax management
• Managing taxation in the context of M&A transactions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on tax implications of business initiatives
• Advising Group management on tax risks and opportunities

Given the geographical spread of the business, the position may be associated with travel from time to time.
 

Who we are looking for:

You preferably have at least 5 years of experience in equivalent work at an audit company, law firm, international company, or other similar experience and hold a M.Sc. Finance or Law degree. We would like to see experience of working in a larger organization, audit company or a renowned law firm especially with international taxation.

Furthermore, We Would Like You to Have

• Strong technical knowledge of international tax laws and transfer pricing
• Knowledge of indirect taxation
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes
• Proactive and hands-on approach with ability to implement advice in practice
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to relate well to people at all levels and to establish networks
• Capable of both teamwork and working independently
• Fluent in oral and written Finnish and English
